Our 2 Part Epoxy Has Many Assembly Applications
Adhesive Systems Custom Adhesive Products
Did you know 2 part epoxy from Adhesive Systems, Inc. is used in adhering acrylics, aluminum, brass, coated metals, cold roll steel, copper, fiberglass, galvanized steel, glass, magnet material, metal, nylons, plated metals, polycarbonate, PVC, stainless steel, styrene, titanium, urethanes, and vinyl...just to name a few of the materials that epoxy bonds? Two part epoxy is a thermosetting polymer formed from reaction of an epoxide resin with polyamine "hardener." It is used in assembly and construction of vehicles, sports equipment, boats, aviation equipment/airplanes, and much more.
Variable Use Epoxy for Dissimilar Substrate Assembly
Epoxy glue can be developed to suit almost any industrial assembly application. It can be used as adhesive for wood, metal, glass, stone, and some plastics. And it can be made flexible or rigid, transparent or opaque/colored, and fast setting or slow setting. It is good to know that two part epoxy adhesives are better in heat with chemical resistance than other common manufacturing/assembly adhesives.
Epoxy Systems for Industrial Tooling and Manufacturing
Epoxy systems are used in industrial tooling applications to produce molds, master models, laminates, castings, fixtures, and other industrial production aids. This "plastic tooling" replaces metal, wood and other traditional materials, and generally improves the efficiency and either lowers the overall cost or shortens the lead-time for many industrial processes. Our 2 part epoxy glue is recommended for encapsulation and potting of coils, capacitors, chokes, resistors and solenoids, transformers, rectifiers, and electronic assemblies. This epoxy resin system shows excellent adhesion to plastics, FR4, and metals for potting.
